IMAGES FROM US grants limited permission for you to use the images
and wallpaper on this site only as defined below.
Before you download, please read our Terms Of Use information carefully, and save the
information to your hard drive. Then feel free to download anything you like.
Our terms are minimal as possible and still protect the work of the photographers,
who retain all rights and own the copyrights to them.

TIP: A method of saving Terms of Use that works well for me is to make my notes (I use notepad) which includes the name
of the site I am going to download from, the names of the artists, photographers, etc. and the terms of use.
I do this even before I start downloading, then I save the notes file in the same folder with the images.
I will forget otherwise, and later have no idea where something came from, and when that happens there is no way
of legally using what you have downloaded.
Please do not direct-link to any images on this site. That would be illegal theft of bandwidth from me which I cannot afford, and I do change filenames to avoid this.

1. Please make sure the photographers name remains visible and readable on any image
   you use. If it is not, then credit must be given the photographer on the same page
   you use the image on.
   
   
2. You may use the 800x600 size images for wallpaper on your own desktop, and we hope
   you will enjoy them...but please do not remove the photographers name.
   We realize that size may not fill your screen if it is a large one, but if you like to put
   shortcuts on your desktop as I do, you may find you like the blank space to keep your
   shortcuts arranged in.
   
   
3. You may not post, redistribute, or share our images with others unless you accept
   that it is your legal responsibility to insure our terms of use are adhered to.
   But we do appreciate your giving the url to our site "www.imagesfromus.com" to others,
   so they can download the images for themselves after reading our terms of service.
   
   
4. You may not use our images for profit in any way unless you have purchased a License from us to do so.
   Nor may our images be posted or offered in any free collections unless you have specific written permission from us to do so.
   Any form of use not described above requires permission from us in writing.
   Please feel free to ask, as we do try to accommodate. When you email please explain
   how you would like to use anything and include the link to your site with your request to the webmaster at ImagesFromUs.

It really can be that simple, but only if you know what the legalities are.

The links below can do a great job of helping you stay aware of the laws...and they do it in a way I think you will find enjoyable and interesting. Unless you are already fully familiar with all aspects of the current copyright laws and the illegality of bandwith theft by direct linking to images, graphics, midis, etc...do yourself a favor and use these links to gain the knowledge needed to avoid almost certain (and possibly serious) problems at some point in your internet and web experience.
